Bamboo sheath knitting slippers
山形・寒河江で昔より作らてきた藁草履造りの技術を生かし 手仕事で竹皮を丁寧に編み込んでつくったスリッパです。

ソールは緩やかな曲線を描き、 歩き易さを考慮したEVAソールを使用しています。
The sole draws a slow curve and uses EVA sole in consideration of easiness of walk.
足の甲をすっぽりと覆う形状のため しつかりしたホールド感があります。

天然竹皮は履き込んでいくことでで艶が増し、長年 ご使用いただけます。また独自の抗菌作用を持っている為、 清潔に気持ちよくお使いもできます。

バンドベルト部のラフィア椰子の繊維は天然樹脂を内に含む為、 形の復元力が高く,柔軟性に優れている素材です。

・外履きとしてもご活用いただけますが、雨の日に 使用し、ずぶ濡れになる状態は避けてください
（水分が植物繊維に浸透することにて型崩れやカビの 発生原因になる可能性があります）
・汚れた場合のお取り扱い方法としては、硬く絞った布巾にて汚れと水分を拭き取り日陰干しにて乾燥 させてください。

山形・寒河江は昔から豊穣な稲作地帯で良質な稲が多く育っていました。 その稲藁を使った草履づくりは江戸末期より普及し、どの農家でも作らておりました。 現在ではその技術を生かし、手仕事ならでは良さを引き出した品々を作り続けております。
A lot of high quality rice was brought up in Yamagata, Sagae in a fertile rice-producing district from old days.
The making of sandals using the rice straw spread from last years of Edo era, and any farming family was made.
I continue making the articles which I make use of the technique, and drew a merit of the handwork now.
